Here's an overview of this year's trip. We're covering a little less ground than in previous years, but it should be great. Starting in Washington, DC, we'll be driving the length of Shenandoah National Park via the Skyline Drive, and then after a night in Charlottesville, we'll drive the length of the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville, NC. Then, we'll be cutting across the state to head to the beach. We'll start at the south end of the Outer Banks at the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and then begin heading back north. We'll then spend a night in Colonial Williamsburg before heading back to DC. Let us know if you have any tips along the way!
