Friday, August 23 - OK, so I know this is a little bit of a crazy place to make our first stop, but when Dinosaur Land was called out in our guide book as a bit of roadside Americana, we couldn't pass it by... This place truly hasn't changed since about 1969, and the gift shop had more figurines that you could count, which lived up to the guidebook's comment that kids would love it, "...and wry-humored adults will enjoy searching through the very large gift shop, which has all manner of cheesy souvenirs.
