Planes, Trains and Automobiles (and Busses)!

Thursday, August 22 - Literally, almost all forms of transportation were taken this evening, and probably a Road Trip first, we both started on public transportation to offset our carbon footprint for all the driving we'll be doing:  Ken on the NYC Subway and Long Island RR to JFK, and Sandy on the Cincinnati bus to the airport.  We both flew to DC (after my flight from NYC was delayed for over an hour, of course), and will be hitting the road Friday morning.  Shenandoah here we come!

And because Sandy loves a sunset, we each captured the sunset en route:  Ken at the Jamaica, Queens train station by JFK, and Sandy at 30,000 feet.  Let the road trip begin!
